Pension 'Haus Jordan'

Of course you can stay at one of those luxury resorts or expensive apartments. But did you ever think of staying at a pension. It is very common in Austria to rent out private rooms, it is more then Bed & Breakfast like the 'Haus Jordan' at Igls. Just outside the village at the 'Badhausstrasse' (at 980 m) with a magnificent view on the Nordkette and Patscherkofel. The Fankhausers are established renters of private rooms since 1970. The 'Haus Jordan' is only 2 km of the highway (take exit Patsch [with toll], map) drive through the woods and just after the Olympic bobsled track you turn up to the lane for 'Haus Jordan'. You arrived for your stay at an farm in Tirol.

There are several rooms available for 2 or 3 persons. All the rooms have their own washing table and on the same level a luxury bathroom with a shower, bath and toilet. Two separate toilets are on the premises. One room (2 persons) has his own bathroom.

Every morning a full breakfast is served in the cosy "stube".

Only 5 km away from Innsbruck is Igls nested on a plateau at 900 m. Old farmhouses are the main images of Igls. Hotels, pensions and apartments are easy to be found. The Olympic winter games of 1964 and 1976 put Igls on the map.

As in summer and in winter there are many outings and fun things to do. In the winter there are plenty of ski areas nearby. The ones among you who love langlauf can be sure of a great choice of paths. You will find many public footpaths, tennis courts (indoor and outdoor) and 2 golf courses 27 holes with a golf driving range. When it is getting really hot drive up to the beautiful Lanser Lake.
